How did you get your job?

I applied via TRLA’s website, and then I reached out to people I met through networking events to make sure my application was received. I made sure to follow up throughout the application process too.

What was the most surprising thing you learned at your job?

For me, what was most surprising was how much could be done virtually! My summer clerkship was entirely virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and I still feel like I got a well-rounded experience. I was still able to observe court, mediations, and client meetings. I was able to interact with my supervisor, other attorneys, and my peers through video chat. It was really surprising to see how much could be done virtually!
