Sean Harlow

Executive Director of Law Advancement

Biography

Sean Harlow, J.D., joined the St. Mary’s University School of Law Advancement team after more than two decades of experience in higher education and independent school advancement. Throughout his career, he has served in leadership roles at Harvard Law School, Rice University, Washburn University School of Law, St. John’s Prep, Tabor Academy and The Advent School, where he built lasting relationships with alumni, donors and volunteers while advancing philanthropy through annual, major and planned giving.

A graduate of Thayer Academy, Harlow earned his bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College, pursued graduate studies at the University of Alabama, and received his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law.

Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, discovering live music, attending Broadway performances and cheering on both Boston and Alabama sports teams. A lifelong dog lover, he shares his home with his two Basset Hounds, Pilgrim and Jett, who are never far from the next adventure.

At St. Mary’s Law, Harlow looks forward to connecting with alumni and friends across Texas and beyond, hearing their stories, and building opportunities for the community to remain engaged in advancing the School of Law’s next century of leadership, service and justice.
