About Academic Support

St. Mary’s Law students can maximize their potential for success in law school and beyond by taking advantage of the resources available to them.

Law Orientation

Starting law school is an exciting time of transition – academically and socially – and St. Mary’s Law hosts a mandatory acclimation program designed for your success. Over the summer, students start preparing with virtual synchronous and asynchronous sessions.

These sessions lead into the in-person Orientation in August for full-time JD students. and online for our part-time online JD students. At Orientation, students raise their right hands and take the Law Student Pledge as they begin their law school career.
