Biography

As a law student at St. Mary’s, Tyler J. Ryska was the Faculty Coordinator for the Dean’s Research Fellows and a member of the Board of Advocates and the External Advocacy Program Negotiations Team.

Additionally, he served as a legal intern in the Enforcement Division of the Texas Railroad Commission and the Environmental Protection Division of the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. After becoming licensed to practice law in 2017, he has served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Protection Division. There, his two areas of expertise are Superfund and Utilities law. In 2022, he formed the Clean Initiative Project. The Clean Initiative Project is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides financial assistance to Texas landowners who need support remediating their land.

He is licensed to practice law in Texas. He is married and has two children. He lives in Bee Cave and attends Lake Hills Church.
