Biography

Sobrevinas manages and oversees all IT related resources and services for the School of Law, including classroom management, courtroom technology and helpdesk support. She assists professors, students and staff at the law school campus as well as the law school’s Center for Legal and Social Justice, St. Mary’s students working at Haven for Hope, and the DACA clinic located in Laredo. Sobrevinas’s areas of professional interest in the world of information systems include cybersecurity and information assurance, cryptography, as well as SCADA security (Supervisory Data and Acquisition Center). She is currently a certified security professional and member of the CompTIA security community.

Before becoming the Director of Law Support Services, Sobrevinas was the Systems Administrator for the law school for six years and later became the Associate Director of Law Support Services. Prior to working for St. Mary’s, Sobrevinas served as a CRM and database Marketing Analyst at BNSF Railway in Fort Worth.
