About the Virtual Ceremony
Although our community cannot be together at this time, we still want to celebrate this momentous milestone with you and your family through a number of initiatives. Please join us for a virtual law graduation ceremony acknowledging you and your fellow Spring 2020 graduates on Saturday, May 16, starting at 1 p.m.
Tune in to see your degree conferred by President Thomas M. Mengler, J.D., words of inspiration from Interim Dean Vincent R. Johnson, J.D., LL.D., and prayers of support from Law Chaplain Sister Grace Walle, D.M., F.M.I.
The University is partnering with Balfour to purchase caps and gowns for Spring 2020 graduates and mail them directly to you.
Due to COVID-19, delivery dates are currently unknown, but we will update you when more information becomes available.
Once you receive your regalia, share your cap and gown photo on social media and tag us at @StMarys_Law with the hashtag #StMULawGrad2020. Spring 2020 graduates are also invited to walk the stage in their regalia at the Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 ceremonies.
Please check your University email for information on ordering regalia and deadlines.
Diplomas will be mailed by mid-June to all graduates who successfully fulfill degree requirements, along with a commemorative program listing all Spring 2020 St. Mary’s University Law graduates and their degrees and honors.
Graduates who submitted photos will be included in the virtual graduation ceremony, featuring images with classmates, friends, professors or favorite St. Mary’s moments.
