How did you get your job?

I was paired with Mr. Denton at a pro bono event, SALSA’s Veteran’s Clinic, where I first became familiar with him and his practice as a real estate litigation attorney. A couple months later, he reached out to me about working for him remotely as a legal assistant and I accepted.

What did you like most about your job?

My favorite thing about working for Mr. Denton’s practice was his eclectic case load. No two cases of his were exactly the same, which means he puts an immense amount of energy and personalization into each filing. It also meant that my job was research-based which allowed me to gain experience in every facet of property law. The job has not only piqued my interest, but provoked deep thought about the law and educational growth.
