Biography

Hector Q. Martinez is a native of San Antonio, Texas and graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2001. While at St. Mary’s, Hector was a member of The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Minority Issues from 1999 to 2000.

Hector started teaching as an adjunct professor at St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2001. Hector added to his negotiation skill set by attending the Program of Instruction for Lawyers training at Harvard Law School in 2003.

Teaching negotiation has afforded Hector many valuable experiences and complimented his role as an attorney and counselor at law at the H.Q. Martinez Law Firm, PC. He also worked with a partner at the Law Office of Beer & Martinez, LLP, and as a member of a small law firm at Carabin & Shaw, P.C.

Hector continues teaching negotiation as an adjunct professor at St. Mary’s Law and is presently an administrative law judge for the State of Texas Department of Insurance-Division of Workers Compensation.
