Dye began his legal career in private practice as a commercial litigator. Before entering law school, he worked for the federal government as a Claims Representative with the Social Security Administration. Biography
Prior to joining St. Mary's, Dye was an Associate Professor of Law at Arizona Summit Law School, where he taught Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Contracts, and Torts, among other courses, for over 10 years. He was a leader in both curriculum design, and creative teaching methods; in addition, he was a strong supporter of student life, serving as a faculty advisor to multiple student organizations, and mentor to multiple students.
Dye, a native of Detroit, Michigan, enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He has served on the Board of Directors for Gigi's Playhouse (Scottsdale, Arizona) and Literacy Volunteers of Maricopa County, as an advisor and contributor to the Family Advocacy Pro Bono Project, and as a member of numerous other charitable and civic organizations.
